Prayer

Prayer is one of the primary identifying marks of God's family. It not only identifies who we are as God's children, but who we are dependant upon. Jesus instructs us in Matthew 7:7, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." The Bible even urges us to pray so that we would see God working in our lives- "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Heb 4:16 (NIV)
